Michael Phillips, Trial Attorney
My name is Michael Phillips and in my over 25+ years as a courtroom lawyer I have dedicated my career to fighting for fairness and justice for real people, not corporations or the government. I am very proud of that fact and I consider it a privilege to practice law. One of my favorite quotes is from the great trial lawyer Daniel Webster who said, "The law: it has honored us; may we honor it.” I attended law school at the University of Santa Clara and when I received “Best Oral Advocate” in moot court I knew trial work was for me. Since then I have done over 100+ jury trials. What I enjoy most is telling my client’s story, the human story. An approach that brings brutal honesty and humanity into the courtroom. I have found that is what moves juries to do justice. When not in court, I am an avid mountain wanderer, skier, and can be found hiking with my boxer-lab mix.
James Granucci, TRial Attorney
“Every lawyer who tries cases knows what kind of an effort goes into preparing and trying those cases. They know that you give a little bit of your soul to every client you represent. I have over 175 jury trials completed to verdict. It’s a lot more than most lawyers. I love what I do. I love being in the courtroom.”
